♦ Horoscope Analysis.
Analysis leads me to conclude that the Illusive Man’s horoscope might potentially be a Scorpio. This is my own headcanon, mind you. In terms of personality, the Illusive Man fits both the positive & negative aspects of a Scorpio. Positives include a sense of focus & balance, accompanied by AMBITION. The Illusive Man has an agenda; Cerberus has an agenda. His mantra of “for humanity” supports these traits. He is a goal-oriented man, which often blinds him. It becomes a major shortcoming in the end for him. His ambition leads him astray.
Scorpios are highly intuitive & perhaps the Illusive Man is for agreeing to implant Reaper technology into his own body, honestly believing that he will benefit in the long run. He is following his gut instincts – the same applies to his faith in Shepard.
However, there are negative aspects to a personality – the Scorpio male, included. He is enigmatic, shrouded in a veil of mystery { his name ought to be a calling card for this trait }. Manipulative & charming breed for a deadly combination. His manipulation is subtle yet so profound that you won’t realize the outcome until later on.
Unforgiving & competitive, he can be seen as exceptionally cruel to others. He seems to act without an emotional regard for the well-being of others. The Illusive Man & Scorpio alike, succumb to brooding – a deep, reflective state of thinking, but this is interrupted by his descent into madness.
